We love our kids at Resurrection, and we want them to know that they are special very special to us and to God. Because they matter so much, the care, education, and protection of our kids is an integral part of the church’s mission and identity. As we come alongside parents in the care of our children, we have a number of environments available to serve these smallest members of our church. We also offer a weekly sermon activity booklet and a monthly children's sermon during the worship service. We need at least one additional person to join our rotation of folks who create this booklet each week. Please contact Latetia if interested.
Every Sunday we have nurseries available to care for our youngest children. These are places where they can begin to see and experience the love of Jesus for them. When you arrive at worship, just follow the signs (our greeters will also be glad to help show the way!), and our nursery staff will help you sign in and take special care of your children. For questions about our nursery, contact Cheryl Hardin.
During the sermon, our children in Kindergarten – 3rd grade have the opportunity to attend RES Time. This is a special time for our children to hear and discuss a bible lesson, memorize verses, pray, and enjoy being around other kids. After the sermon is completed, they will rejoin their parents for the remainder of worship. For questions about RES Time contact Ashlie Johnson.
